Religious Trauma
Religious trauma is often misunderstood. Some signs of religious trauma include excessive guilt, sexual shame, depression, or arrested development/ delayed adolescents. Let’s work together to help you develop healthier patterns of belief within your cultural context and address challenges that may have arisen from religious contexts.

Body Image
You deserve to take up space at every size and shape. I am an advocate for body autonomy, body positivity & neutrality, and Health at Every Size—HAES®. I also understand the impacts purity culture can take on your mindset around bodies. Healing your mindset and beliefs around your body is possible.

ADHD
You are not lazy. Your brain just works differently. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have spent years masking and overcompensating, I will help you understand your brain, release the shame, and build strategies that actually work for you.

Cult Recovery
Leaving a high-control group or cult can be disorienting, lonely, and overwhelming. You don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. In therapy, we’ll unpack what you went through, process the lingering effects, and help you reconnect with your own voice, values, and sense of self. This is a space for healing, clarity, and rebuilding on your terms.

Whether you are experiencing constant worry, trouble sleeping, racing thoughts, difficulty concentrating, or that feeling of being on edge all the time, I will help you build tools to calm your nervous system, shiftunhelpful thought patterns, and feel more grounded in your daily life. You don’t have to navigate it alone.

Identity Development
When trauma or major life changes are experienced it often impacts core identity and how you feel about yourself. Questioning and/or changing identity can be a source of confusion, discomfort, and even pain. I will work with you to strengthen, identify, and discover your authentic self.
What To Expect
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you have never done it before, or if past experiences left you guarded or unsure. Here, you set the pace. This is a space built around your story, your comfort, and your goals, not a script. We will build a plan that actually fits you.
Here is what you can expect along the way:
A non-judgmental space. Whatever you bring (doubts, anger, grief, confusion) there is room for it here.
Collaboration, not correction. You are the expert on your own life. I am here to help you understand yourself more clearly, not tell you who to be.
Honesty, gently delivered. I'll be direct with you, and I'll always aim to do it with care.
Progress that is actually yours. Healing is not linear, and it won't look identical to anyone else's. We'll track what is working for you, specifically.
You are the expert in your own life. You can expect encouragement for you to take the drivers seat in your life. You should feel comfortable and confident that this is the right place and fit for you, and if something isn't working, we'll adjust it together.
Therapy is about you and for you. You should feel comfortable and confident that this is the right place and fit for you.
